Hey there! I'm Nilani, the proud owner and baker behind Unique Sweetness LA, a cottage food bakery. From a young age, I was always in the kitchen with my grandma, helping to prepare our traditional meals, sweets, and of course, my all-time favorite—GATA (Armenian sweet bread, yum!). Though I always dreamed of being in the medical field, I somehow kept getting pulled back into the kitchen, and here I am, more than 14 years later, baking and creating sweet moments for people one pastry at a time!

With roots from Iran, raised in the Netherlands, and now calling Los Angeles home, I decided to take my passion to the next level and attended culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu in 2011. That year was a whirlwind! Fast forward a couple of years, and I ran into a fellow Armenian student, Kachik Ajaryan, at a local Starbucks (small world, right?). Well, he’s now my husband, and together, we’re taking my dreams and growing Unique Sweetness LA to new heights—stronger than ever as a power team!
